Fall
In my mind, Thanksgiving is the start of the fall season, looking out at steady rain and leaves blowing, the first wood fire of the season warming the now clean and lonely kitchen after the hustle and bustle of the weekend filled with good company and good food. Now I can let go of summer and welcome the cold, wind and rain, with hopefully a good measure of spectacularly sunny fall days.
