First Swim

I finally made it to my first swim, thanks to Maggie and Tobias who I accompanied to the beach to see them off on their kayak outing. Despite the long weekend, the beach was deserted and only the boats usually anchored in Deep Bay were there. The water seemed cold and it took me a while to get fully immersed. Once my body acclimatized, the water was lovely. Definitely, swimming was the highlight of my weekend.

Wild roses and honeysuckle are already in bloom at the beach.
