Killer Karma

Is it because she is a female (albeit spayed) and thinks she has to bring in the meals, or because she is still a juvenile, or because she is fairly new to outdoor life? Karma killed the second bird in a week. This time, she did not eat it and left it surrounded by feathers in front of the door. The cleaning up of this cat activity is usually Horst’s job, but he is not here – so I had to do it, armed with gloves and garbage bag. I can’t wait for Karma to lose her hunting instinct – after all, she is well fed. I am looking forward to more satisfying things I have planned for the weekend, such as finally planting seeds in the garden.
