Passenger transportation to and from Vancouver has now become much easier and faster. On November 1st we used the "Bowen Express", operated by Granville Island Water Taxi, for a day trip to the city. It took less than half an hour to get to Granville Island from Snug Cove, and, after taking our time having dinner we boarded the 10 pm boat back to Bowen, arriving at our house at 10:45. The service runs hourly with the exception of a longer break around dinner time. Reservation is strongly recommended.
